Article 33 : access to certain policies
33.1 Employees shall continue to receive benefits provided under the following policies, in respect of which the University shall consult with the Bargaining Unit before making changes:
- Policy 13: Second Mortgage for the Purchase of a House;
- Policy 22: Tuition Exemption and Bursary for Spouses and Dependents.
33.2 Regular employees may take a self-funded leave under the terms and conditions of Policy 46a of the University.
Although authorizing a self-funded leave is at the discretion of the Director, leave will not be denied without just cause.
33.3 In the case of a contradiction between a policy and a provision of the Agreement, the Agreement shall be applicable and shall take precedence.
