Leave for family obligations

If required, you can take an annual maximum of 10 hours of paid leave for family obligations and other emergencies, including:

• Providing temporary care for a family member who is sick
• Accompanying a dependent unable to travel alone to a doctor or dentist appointment

Your Dean may grant special leave for other exceptional situations, such as an appointment with academic authorities.
