You are eligible if you are participating in the extended health insurance.
The Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is a confidential and voluntary support service that can help you find solutions to all kinds of challenges regarding work, your health or life in general.
LifeWorks, the University’s EFAP service provider, offers a wide range of services that are delivered by highly qualified and experienced professionals. The services offered include:
- Short-term professional counselling.
- Family support services.
- Legal support services.
- Financial support services.
- Career counselling services.
- Naturopathic services.
- Nutrition support services.
- Health coaching.
The EFAP is completely confidential within the limits of the law. No one, including your supervisor, will ever know that you have used the service. To ensure your privacy and confidentiality, the fees for the EFAP service are paid in advance by the University.
