ARTICLE 13 : WORKING CONDITIONS, BENEFITS AND OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES

13.1* INSTALLATIONS

To the extent that University resources permit it, the Employer shall provide members with facilities and services which are reasonably necessary for the effective discharge of their responsibilities of employment, such as reasonable online library services and technical services and other online supports. An e-mail account will be set up for the member by the time of their first pay under a teaching contract and kept open for as long as the member's name appears on the seniority lists. Subject to legal requirements and copyright laws, the University will endeavour to provide the Member with access to online services of the library thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the course associated with a teaching contract.

13.2* Members may request that the Employer complete the T2200 form if applicable.

13.3* TEACHING SUPPORT

Members of the bargaining unit will have access to online support from the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS).

13.4 EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Members of the bargaining unit and their eligible family members shall have access to multiple employee assistance services offered remotely, including telemedicine, for as long as these programs are offered by the University.

13.5* No Employee shall exploit her or his connection with the University. Any outside professional activity that might reasonably be viewed as conflicting or interfering with the obligations, duties and responsibilities of the Employee shall be disclosed to the Employer.
