Article 5 : no strike and lockout

5.1 The Association undertakes that there will be no strike and the Employer undertakes that there will be no lockout for the duration of this Agreement. The meaning of the term strike and lockout shall be defined by the applicable Ontario Labour Relations Act.

5.2 In the event that employees of the University of Ottawa, other than those covered by this Agreement, engage in a strike and/or maintain picket lines, Employees covered by this Agreement shall continue to report to work and carry out their regular duties but shall not be required to perform work normally done by those employees.
