Article 2 : recognition

2.1 The University recognizes the Union as the bargaining agent for all its employees in accordance with the Certificate issued by the Ontario Labour Relation Board dated at Toronto, February 10, 1966, hereinafter called the "employees", and that the said Union has all the rights inherent in such certification.

2.2 It is agreed by the Parties that this Agreement covers all operating engineers engaged in operation and maintenance except those specifically holding a supervisory position as excluded in the certificate of recognition mentioned in Article 2.1.

2.3 It is further agreed that there shall be no solicitation of members, collection of dues, meeting or other union activities on the premises of the University, except as specifically provided for in the Agreement.
